j-tec Soil Sensor
This advanced LoRa soil sensor monitors up to 8 key parameters, including temperature, moisture, pH, conductivity (ec), salinity, and NPK levels. It offers high accuracy, fast response, and stable performance. The sensor is less affected by soil salinity and is compatible with a wide range of soil types. Its durable, vacuum-sealed probe is fully waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and built to withstand long-term burial and electrolysis.
Ideal for agriculture, greenhouses, irrigation automation, soil research, and environmental monitoring, it enables reliable remote data collection when paired with a LoRa gateway.
Save up to 40% Water!
Data Sample
Beside the current data each value is stored permanently and can be shown as graph. Automation based on Soil-Data is possible.
Soil Sensor Variations
We provide different Variations of Soil-Sensors. The Basic Version can Measure the Temperature and Moisture (Volumetric Water Content). Up to the 8 in 1 which can measure all relevant soil data including Macro-Nutrients and fertility. Each Sensor is available in a battery and solar-powered version.
Soil Sensor 2 in 1
- Soil temperature
- Moisture (VMC)
Soil Sensor 4 in 1
- Soil temperature
- Moisture (VMC)
- conductivity (EC)
- PH
Soil Sensor 8 in 1
- Soil temperature
- Moisture (VMC)
- EC (Electrical Conductivity)
- PH (power of hydrogen), Acidic Level from 0 to 8
- Salinity
- N – Nitrogen
- P – Phosphorus
- K – Potassium
Solar Powered Sensor
The Outdoor Compatible Soil-Sensor is the perfect solution for agriculutral applications in the field. Long term Monitoring without running out of battery!
| What you can Monitor | Pain points solved | Automations |
|---|---|---|
| Dry-back management (day/night) | Root hypoxia; poor rooting | Target % moisture drop; pause irrigation on low radiation mornings |
| Irrigation start/stop by substrate temperature | Cold-root shock; poor uptake | Delay first irrigation until substrate warmed |
| Pulse sizing & frequency | Non-uniform moisture; tip burn | Shorter, more frequent pulses as ET rises |
| Leaching / salt control (proxy, no EC) | EC creep (indirect) | Leach pulse if moisture plateau with high demand; weekly rinse |
| Zone uniformity (multiple probes) | Uneven growth/yield | Alert if zone moisture deviates from median |
| Root-disease prevention | Pythium/Phytophthora bursts | Lock out irrigation when soil T low and moisture high; force aeration window |
